Loops, Time, and Memory

Life. With a finite amount of time, we make our best effort to make this journey worthwhile. Without a straight path towards realizing our dreams, this journey has many Brownian motion twists and turns. Loopback after a false start, recursive branches lead seemingly in unknown directions. Backward and forward. Strike that, reverse that. Repeat after me. 1, 2, 3. 1, 2, 3. And somehow, the collective memory of each misaligned path we take weaves together to make us whole, unique, and worthy.

Fun fact, one of the patterns used for the brush tip is from a Mexican tile from Puebla, Mexico. My ancestors, conversos, escaped the Inquisition in Spain, then in Portugal, and came through Mexico. One of these ancestors married a woman from Puebla before they came to New Mexico.
